Serene Allison is incredibly gifted in the kitchen. For those who are seeking to incorporate more raw food into their meals, this is the only book you will ever need. Every recipe I have prepared has been yummy. I am not a raw foodist by any means, but I make many of Serene's creations, and my children are happy, and even my husband (who is more of a meat and potatoes kind of guy) has his favorites and is thrilled when I prepare them. These recipes are enjoyed by all because they are simply DELICIOUS!

I bought this because I am into natural foods. I was impressed with all the health information the book included in addition to the recipes. Serene is very encouraging in the way she writes, and I couldn't help but read every word in the book before I tried the recipes. The recipes are excellent, too! There are so many alternatives to traditionally un-healthy foods. The salad dressings are so easy to make satisfying - I've never used store-bought salad dressing since buying this book. Thank you, Serene!

I have MANY slick raw food books in my library, but the one I return to again and again is this little comb bound self-published gem. The recipes are simple and don't require a lot of expensive, hard to find ingredients. Plus, they are DELICIOUS! I have many friends who would never think to eat this way, beg for more and more and more of the food I have prepared from the recipes in this book. I have owned it for many years now and while I loan out my other raw food books, this (now well loved) tome is never far away from me. I encourage everyone who is interested in this way of eating to buy this book first! It was my first entrance into the lifestyle of living foods and I can truly say that it changed my life and my health for the better! I simply love Serene's approach to this way of eating. I also own her DVD and her CD of the same title...all GREAT!!! Highly recommend!

This amazing recipe book has been at our house for more than 4 years. We Love it! I have made all the pages in it crinkly from getting it wet and dragging it off to the store to collect ingredients. I am as excited about it as the day I got it. I am in love with the salads and was so amazed at the dehydrator breads! Serene, you are brilliant. There is so much more to try, because I really have not made it over to the desserts yet. I can't believe I get to be the first to review this book. Get two, because you will want to share this experience with a friend! Delicious.
