Author Jennifer Flanders is a faith-walking, husband-loving, life-savoring, home-schooling, multi-tasking mother of twelve. She and her family make their home in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas.
These 25 Ways to Communicate Respect to Your Husband have been developed and refined over the course of 26+ happy years of marriage.
Jennifer Flanders graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. She completed two years of graduate work at SMU in the same field before she and her husband, Dr. Doug Flanders, started their family. She took her final final just two weeks before their first son was born. Since that time, the author has put her math background to good use by "staying home to multiply." (It has also come in handy as she's home schooled their twelve children, teaching counting to calculus, and everything in between).
You can read more from Jennifer by visiting her blog (http://lovinglifeathome.com) where she writes about marriage and motherhood, or by visiting the Flanders' family website (http://www.flandersfamily.info) where she shares tips on organization, saving money, home schooling, and family fun.
Jennifer often speaks on the same topics to community, church, and school groups. In her "spare" time, Jennifer enjoys reading, singing, playing with her kids and grandkids, visiting with her husband, and doing a wide variety of needle crafts.

This book simply but powerfully shows what respect for your husband looks like in everyday life. The chapters are short enough to read one or two each day and end with a suggested list of how to put that lesson into practice. Every married woman needs this book!

This book is for both young and old, married and unmarried women. It is wonderful! It gives practical, Biblically sound advice and encouragement on the role and purpose of the wife. Each chapter is short and to the point making it possible to read in just 5 minutes and then has a few things to try to apply what is taught. It makes it very practical and real. Thank you Jennifer for allowing God to direct you and for being obedient!
