I purchased this about two weeks ago. It is very important to read the booklet and watch the Foundational Moves DVD. To be completely blunt I hate exercise, especially if I know I'm doing it. But with some Diastasis Recti and Pelvic Floor issues, and three active children, I know I need to do something.
However the 'usual' workouts are either too advanced or further damage my issues. Plus I get bored really easy.
Well that has changed with Work Ins. I don't actually like taking days off. I feel like I'm working out (well in) with Serene and Pearl. Even on Gentle Fit these work ins are a challenge, but doable. I can feel it the next day in a good way :)
I purchased this from New Zealand, but it was worth every penny to get it here. I look forward to doing these Work Ins with my daughters later too.

I enjoy the pace and intensity of the work-ins, but I don't like that I always have to be watching the screen. If I look away, they've switched to the other leg or a totally new movement with no verbal cues. Serene says don't crane your neck. Well, I have to to keep an eye on them! Plus, there are limited verbal instructions - most of it is visual. I have to watch closely and try to figure out what they're doing and what I'm supposed to be doing. I'd prefer less banter and more instruction.

I've tried the first 3 discs. All the exercises I have tried so far seem to be very good and working toward my goal of having exercise support me in my everyday life. I'm talking about just having good posture and strength for lifting my children, agility and good energy... that type of thing. Not to be strong enough to do 50 push ups but walk around with an aching back and weak pelvic floor muscles. I have noticed considerable progress toward my goal of having good posture in the month that I have read their poster and done their exercises.
I appreciate their philosophy on exercise for women! Very insightful. Finally something reasonable and do-able! And something that energizes me for a busy day as a stay at home mom. It's lighthearted, which i really appreciate.
I have two boys ages 4 and 2. And a five month old girl. It's usually hard to work in time to exercise but my boys love it when I put pearl and serene on because they love to do mad matador and the crazy dance at the end. They just play around me or try to imitate me for most of it.
I don't see myself wanting to buy any other exercise DVDs in the foreseeable future (there's enough workouts here to keep me busy for a long time!) and plan on hanging on to these for life.
