Great, Balanced, Complete Healthy Lifestyle Manual! These two sisters have done a great job of sharing their journey through their different health fads and diets. They share what worked and what didn't and what led them to discover a balanced healthy way of life. For me, they really hit home and make great sense when they share how sugar levels effect your weight gain. Of course we all know this, but as a mother of a recently diagnosed type one diabetic, I was shocked when I had to start counting every single carb my daughter ate. These sisters weave together the truth about how fats and sugars are digested and how if we eat them in the right way, we can enjoy the full range of food that God created for us to enjoy as long as we use our sugars and fats together right.
Thanks for a great book and I really appreciate the clean/unclean meat discussion. Seldom do you hear this talked about in the church. It is a great wisdom that God has placed in His word for our benefit!!! If we would only remember that He is smarter than we are!!

This is a LONG read. But it is so thorough. I wouldn't have ever bought a book this big if I hadn't watched my own friends lose 70 lbs, 20 lbs, etc. I've spent a couple weeks reading while traveling, and am so excited to dive in and do the plan. I know this is going to change my life. The best thing about this book is that it doesn't leave you with questions.

I've read this book in nearly one go. Writing style is light and fun.
It takes some time to figure out how to adjust the plan to items available in The Netherlands and Dutch taste buds, but we're getting there.
Didn't have a whole lot to shed, but losing weight has been easy - and I hardly ever feel hungry anymore, while before getting on plan I seemed to ALWAYS feel hungry.

This book is full of information and recipes on healthy living. It will take quite a while to get through it, but I believe it will be worth it. I like that the sisters do things differently to accomplish the same goals. I think this appeals to more of us...we can figure out what method works for us. Looking forward to starting a new year of healthy living.
