I love it that Serene and Pearl are real, sharing like you are sitting at the table with them. They talk to you, not over your head, but with well researched and tested recipes.

I purchased the book last year and have thoroughly enjoyed the recipes, easy-to-read style of writing, and the subsequent weight loss. I bought a second copy as a gift for my mom after she requested it. She has seen my results and is impressed, and since diabetes runs in our family, it's important for our health. I love the balanced, Biblical approach to health and wellness.

I have much appreciated your practicality and advice found in the book. My husband is diabetic, and following your guidelines has already started bringing his high blood sugar down.
My only critique is that, we are currently in an RV. This means that we have to be plugged in to microwave, and I didn't bring many microwaveable mugs. Do you have muffin in a mug recipes that can go in the oven?
