    It's easy to focus on Glod's Word every day, in the morning and in the evening. Such a blessing to follow the daily reading of God's Word itself, not a book about the Bible, but the Bible itself, a very powerful soul food and encouragement in our Christian walk. Thank you!

    I like this devotional book because it provides a bite size amount of scripture verses to read. However I think I would like it even more if it included just a tiny amount of commentary even if it was just a title that gave you an idea about the theme of the verses.

    This is a wonderful devotional to read aloud and I especially love that it is all scripture (no commentary at all), and grouped thematically. I only wish the publisher had maintained the original KJV translation, especially because that version of Daily Light is so hard to find.

    Scriptures that fall into a particular category every day. Twice a day. How simple is that? The main reason I love it is because it takes the pressure off my husband to come up with something to teach. He teaches me as well as the children. Nancy Campbell mentioned how easy it is for husbands to forget with so much they have going on. Us wives can easily pass it to him after the evening meal without nagging.
